3. For the purposes of this Division, childbirth means the expulsion or extraction from its human mother, of a liveborn child, that is, a living product of conception, whatever its weight, or of a stillborn child, that is, a non-living product of conception weighing 500 g or more, or having a gestational age of 20 weeks or more.
